New Delhi: Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Prometric India, the online test conducting body, have announced the results for Common Admission Test 2012, popularly known as CAT, today i.e. January 9, 2013. Candidates who appeared for the test can check their results by logging on to IIM-CAT official website: http://www.catiim.in/. In order to obtain their respective results, candidates are required to enter their CAT registration number and email address in the specified space.
Although CAT 2012 officials announced that the results will be made available from midnight; however, they were actually declared at 3.00 am, today. As per sources, though the results were made available for the aspirants in the early hours of the day, but the majority of aspirants who were trying to login failed to get access for over an hour due to technical glitch. Finally, the results could be accessed after 4.15 am.
According to sources, more than 2.14 lakh aspirants registered for the test, of which about 1.91 lakh appeared for the same. CAT 2012 was conducted in 61 test centres across 36 cities over a 21-day testing window from October 11, 2012 to November 6, 2012. IIM Khozikode coordinated CAT 2012. Candidates are also advised to retain a printed copy of their results. The access to CAT 2012 results will available till December 31, 2013.
