This year, Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow has collaboration with EXL Service to introduce a business management certification programme in Operational excellence and consulting. It will be launched in May 2013 at IIM-Lucknow, Noida Campus.
The newly launched programme is specially designed for the mid-level professionals. The aim of the course is to help them orient their careers in emerging fields and equip them to capitalize on the opportunities in these specialized domains.
As per sources, the curriculum would emphasis on developing strategic understanding of business, rooted in realistic skill development through projects and case studies. It has 160 hours of classroom teaching in four ‘on cam pus’ modules, each of 6-7 days duration at IIM-Lucknow, Noida Campus. Besides, the programme will be delivered by the faculty at IIM-L and EXL Industry practitioners and entrepreneurs would also be invited for industry interaction.
On the successful completion of both the classroom sessions as well as projects, the participants will be awarded a ‘One Year Business Management Certification in Operational Excellence and Consulting.’ The programme fee including taxes, boarding and lodging in the campus on twin sharing basis would be around Rs 3, 00, 000.
The eligibility prescribed for admission into the programme is that a candidate must be graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (or CGPA of 5 on a 10 point scale) or CA/ICWA/CS. Applicants must have a minimum 5 years of postqualification (after graduation) related professional experience as on April 30, 2013
