IIMs Among Top Three B-Schools in Eduniversal 2013 Rankings

Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are among the top three B-schools in Central Asia as per the Eduniversal 2013 rankings. The ratings were announced on Wednesday, 9th October, 2013. IIM Bangalore tops the list followed by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta.

Headquartered in Paris, Eduniversal is a global ranking and rating agency specializing in higher education. Created in 1994, the company is known as SMBG in France and Eduniversal worldwide. It offers the annual ranking of the best 1000 Business Schools in 154 countries and ranking of the best 4000 Masters and MBA programs in 30 specializations worldwide.

The top three business schools were choosen from nine geographical zones and 154 countries. The Eduniversal Evaluation System (EES) is a ranking and rating system for the international influence, reputation and the quality of the programs of Business Schools.

The Eduniversal classification by Palmes is made based on two essential elements: the internationalization criteria and the Deans vote. The internationalization criteria consists of the accreditations obtained by the schools, main rankings, memberships in international academic associations, network of partnerships of deans and business schools at international and local levels and the notable studies and websites in the world of education and universities.

The award ceremony is being held in Bangalore and the Top 3 Business Schools in the 9 geographical zones will receive their special Awards from the Eduniversal Scientific Committee members. This Awards Ceremony brings the top 27 Business Schools into the spotlight, which has distinguished themselves in their respective zones.
