IGNOU Special Centre Commences New Tele-Media Learning Strategy

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) special study centre (Number 1264-D), which is located in Bhalessa, has commenced a new tele-media learning strategy to ensure total learning. As per sources, the new strategy will be called as Effective Classroom through Tele-Media. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Ahmedabad, backs the centre to establish a tele-educational terminal, sources added.
 
Further, sources informed that the tele-educational terminal has been established in order to provide effective E-classes so as to attract the militancy-prone misguided youth in this remote area. In addition, sources informed that the centre is going on with a series of seminars and debates along with an awareness campaign. The centre is doing so with the help of a local NGO namely National Students Welfare Association (NSWA), sources added.
 
The aim of these seminars and campaign is to make the youth familiar with the courses and objectives of the university. As per sources, Sadaket Malik, head of the centre and his team has come to the vanguard to make the area educationally advanced, by attracting as many students as possible towards quality higher education. He said that in view of the tattering educational affairs of the area, the NSWA NGO is constantly working for peace and education.
 
Furthermore, Mr. Malik added that the revolution of Information Technology holds a bright future for computer professionals. Already the country is marching ahead in computers and gradually the computer trained will assume greater role, he said. He also admired IGNOU for taking up the enormous programme of education through its unique system. Lastly, he gives the assurance to IGNOU for all cooperation in providing support service to the students who have opted for some course. A tele knowledge centre scheme of the government is also in the pipeline, he told the sources.
