New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will shortly start specialized degree programmes along with short-term courses in the field of textile. The decision came as a response to growing demand for tailor-made courses in the textile industry.

IGNOU will now offer courses including B. Tech, MBA, M. Phil and PhD in Textile Management. Apart from these courses, the University will also conduct three-month and six-month short-term courses in the same subject. The programmes will start from the next academic session.
