IIIT-Allahabad Extends Last Date of Form Submission for M Tech Course in Biomedical Engineering 2012

Allahabad: Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh, has extended the last date of application form submission for five-year integrated M Tech course in Biomedical Engineering admission 2012, up to May 31, 2012. Earlier the last date of issuing application in person and receiving completed application forms at IIIT-A counter was May 25, 2012.
 
As per the notification issued by the Institute, admission to the course will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written test which is to be conducted on June 17, 2012 (from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm), at IIIT-Allahabad, Deoghat Jhalwa, Allahabad. Interested candidates may apply either online or offline. In order to apply online, candidates are required to visit the Institute's official website: http://www.iiita.ac.in/ or http://biomedical.iiita.ac.in/.
 
However, candidates may obtain the offline application form-cum-information brochure from the institute in person (from IIIT-Allahabad, Main Campus / NSC / IIIT-A, Delhi Guest House / RGIIT, Amethi Campus) or on request to Assistant Registrar (Exam), IIIT-Allahabad. Applications can also be downloaded from the website as well. The application cost is Rs 1000 for GE / OBC / MN candidates and Rs 500 for SC / ST / PD candidates), which can be paid in cash or through DD of any nationalized bank. The DD should be drawn in favor of IIIT-Allahabad payable at Allahabad.
 
The duly filled in and completed application form, along with requisite documents and DD (in case of downloaded application form), should be submitted to IIIT-Allahabad, latest by May 31, 2012 (till 6.00 pm).
