Shillong: Indian Institute of Management - Shillong will offer a two-day managerial development programme namely - Zen and Art of Executive Leadership from today, i.e. from July 11, 2011 (Monday). The two-day leadership programme will be organized at its Mayurbhanj Palace campus, in order to improve the quality of leadership in the corporate world.
According to an official statement issued, in the present day, organizations require executives who are capable of leading with integrity and vision. Also, they need leaders who make strong decision to lead their organizations towards new viewpoint of expansion and prosperity. The main purpose of offering the course is to make the participants aware of the challenges of executive leadership and encouraging them to innovate ways for leading organizational change.
Furthermore, the course would train the participants regarding the complete set of principles for leading individuals in an organization, complete self assessments on a wide range of leadership variables, study self assessment results to discover individual student leadership strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities, observe effective leadership behaviors and techniques, and more significantly create a personal leadership development plan.
